Whether it’s a Nooner at the Nat, Friday Night Races at Hastings, the Dragon Boat Festival or The Vancouver Open. Whatever, whenever, if you’re enjoying one of those “good to be here” moments, chances are the GIB BREW CREW will be there to bring even more fun. Look for our CREW hosting parties and events all year long. Get IN THE KNOW and find a GIB party in your area, as well as other great events at your favourite pubs, bars and restaurants.

Vancouver Fishing Derby 2014 Salmon Futures Fundraiser
May 8, 2014
Granville Island; Awards Dinner & Salmon Futures Fundraiser @ Performance Works

“The Vancouver Fishing Derby was created in 2012 in an effort to raise public awareness regarding issues concentrated around wild salmon populations and their annual migration from the Pacific Ocean to BC’s rivers and streams. Being avid fishermen and women, and experiencing first-hand the declining number of salmon returning to spawn, they decided to help local conservation agencies through fund-raising and fishing excursions.

Our largest and most attended event of the year is the fishing derby which is based out of Granville Island in beautiful Vancouver, British Columbia. This organization is run purely by volunteers who are all passionate about salmon fishing and who will do their collective best in order to ensure future generations can enjoy fishing as much as each of us do.

See you on May 8th – Tight lines.”

We are proud to support Vancouver Fishing Derby’s Salmon Futures Fundraiser with a few kegs at their after party!

Join the 2014 Vancouver Fishing Derby participants for some dinner, drinks, live music, and prizes.   All proceeds raised from this event will go towards the Pacific Salmon Foundation’s Salish Sea Marine Survival Project.
