Hosted by Granville Island Brewing’s Brewmaster, Vern Lambourne, this dinner, the second event in their 2012 Brewmaster’s Dinner Series, features a locally inspired four course meal prepared by Vancouver’s Savoury Chef Foods. Be among the first to taste Vern’s newest Limited Release, Cascadia Dark Ale, alongside other select award-winning brews. Learn the basics of food and beer pairing and ask Vern your burning beer questions. Space is limited and tickets are only available through the Granville Island Brewing Retail Store (1441 Cartwright Street) starting May 1st.

The Calgary International Beerfest is a celebration of beer. Increase your beer knowledge and find a new favourite by sampling some of the more than 200 different types of beer on site. Take part in beer seminars, vote for the People’s Choice awards, meet new people, sample delicious foods, enjoy the atmosphere and entertainment, and most importantly have a great time! Upon entry, each guest will receive an official Calgary International Beerfest sample mug to use throughout the event and take home with them afterwards!
